The Maddie Project in Support of Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Established in Memory of Madeline Grace German Coulter
“The brightest of stars are those who shine for the benefit of others.”
The Maddie Project was established in April 2015, in memory of Madeline Grace German Coulter. Treasured daughter of Nicole German and Chris Coulter and beloved big sister to Zachary and Sawyer, Maddie died suddenly at the age of 14. Depression took her young life.
From their tragedy, Maddie’s family has channelled their grief into creating The Maddie Project to support youth struggling with depression and other mental health related concerns.
The Maddie Project, along with North York General Foundation has committed to raise $1 million to create a therapeutic garden at Phillips House, the future home of North York General's outpatient mental health programs for children and youth. With your help, we will create a lasting tribute to Madeline, through Maddie’s Healing Garden.
